No.3 in PDEA List collared; MK2 Grenade Apprehended

Oroquieta City – The No. 3 man in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 10 list involved in drug trafficking was collared by the MisOC PNP Public Safety Company PPSC led by Deputy Commander, P/SI Melfin Ian Burlat and the Provincial Intelligence and Investigation Division under MisOC Provincial Director P/SSupt Robert Quenery in a buy bust operation.

The suspect known as Jerry Doria y Cobero, 32 years old, single and jobless was caught red handed when a poseur buyer from the PNP Intelligence net buy from him some stocks of the illegal drug in Upper Loboc this city last August 9 at 10:50 PM.

The suspect who was about to deliver said illegal drug, the PNP Team rushed on him and caught him in the act giving two (2) big sachet known as “sako” in the underworld and the marked four (4) pcs.100 pesos bill, a cell phone, and some paraphernalia’s of sniffing and a MK2 hand Grenade in possession of the suspect.

Meanwhile, at the same date and hour, the Oroquieta City Police Office under OIC- City Director P/Supt Paciano Deloso (DSC) together with his intelligence officer P/I Mariano dela Peña and police operatives PO3 Eugene Salingay and PO1 Peter Egoc responded to a civilian informant that the suspect later known as one Sahrodin Lindogan y Pagayao aka “Den-den” a Magindanoan, single, 36 years old, a resident of Upper Sang-an, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur

Seen standing by at a nearby Aglipayan Church in Barangay Mobod, the police operative rushed him in but the suspect tried to throw-away (2) plastic sachet found with some white crystallize substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloric Acid or otherwise known as “Shabu”.

P/SSupt Deloso together with his operatives bring the suspect to the City PNP Office and found again some 13 pieces of aluminum foils in the suspects possession and filed a case pursuant to the violation of R.A. 9165.

The whole PNP in Misamis Occidental and Oroquieta City is now in hot pursuit of suspected couriers of the illegal drugs as it is now their campaign in strengthening to fight drug abuse in the whole province.

Late this week a certain Rizaldy Abreo, single, 22 years old was also caught in a buy-bust operation with four (4) sachet of the dreaded drug and some paraphernalia’s and another lady suspect with seven (7) sachet found on her possession with sniffing paraphernalia’s the two are now languishing in the BJMP Jail waiting for court disposal.

Meantime, City Mayor Jason Almonte who mandates his new OIC Police City Director to fast track the campaign on Anti-Illegal Drug and other criminalities to include the proliferation of Video karera and Suertres number game was happy in deed to know of the police accomplishment. “I hope that this will be the start of a drug-free Oroquieta City” He said.
