Oroquieta City - With the local chief executive agenda and priorities to solve crimes due to gambling and illegal drugs and other substances, The Oroquieta City PNP Office( OCPO) now headed by OIC-CD P/Supt Paciano A. Deloso (DSC) is on fastrack mood to collar and arrest suspected perpetrators and be brought to justice in its fight against these menace.
“Utos ni Mayor! Ituloy ang kampanya at hulihin silang lahat!” OCPO-OIC City Director said. City Mayor Jason “Jingjing” Almonte who takes over from his father administration now 1st District, Congressman Jorge T. Almonte, the city local government of Oroquieta promised to clean the city against all criminalities, if not all at least minimize and be on control to prevent it from spreading like virus.
This is the reason why P/Supt Paciano A. Deloso who after his assignment had been question by the City Mayor and did not accept to the fact that the assignment was illegal and non coordination between the city government and the Misamis Occidental PNP Provincial Police Command, specifically S.O. Nr 126 dated July 26, 2010 and signed by the PNP Provincial Director, P/SSupt Robert G. Quenery.
Fortunately, after a day or two, City Mayor Almonte decided to retract his opposition an eventually accept the OCPO OIC City Director ,however, police responsibility and action is at stake, meaning the OIC and his police force must act to what they are into as, peace officers and proved their worth to be called the guardians of the people.
“Yes, it is true, fortunately, the City Mayor reaches out his hand for the consideration of my assignment as the OIC City Director of OCPO and I have to prove my worth as a Police Officer.” P/Supt Deloso said.
In fact, the City Mayor has ordered me to strengthen the city campaign against illegal drug use and distribution and its campaign against illegal video games such as the “video karera” and to include illegal number games like “suertres” which is now proliferating the city and its barangays”, He adds.
The OCPO-OIC City Director recently called the attention of all the residents to help and support not only the police but also to the Chief Local Executive in achieving peace and order within its jurisdiction and advocates on Anti-Illegal Drug Use , Illegal Gambling, and other peace and order problems, and to conduct more police visibility to deter criminality.
In relation to the OIC City Director new assignment and order, P/Supt Deloso is now in coordination with other law enforcement in the city and the province to fast track said mission and achieved the desired goal to have peace and order in the City and promotes its Good Life.
The province of Misamis Occidental, its cities, Ozamis, Tangub and Oroquieta and the municipalities with their newly elected and re-elected officials are on the move towards achieving peace and economic reforms for every Misamisnons. (With reports from Dave Danao, CIB-OCM)
