Calamba, Misamis Occidental---The Misamis Occidental I Electric Cooperative, Incorporated (MOELCI I) will hold their 31st Annual General Membership Assembly (AGMA) at the Sapang Dalaga Gymnasium here on Saturday, August 28, 2010.
GM Noel Dumalagan said that apart from the AGMA, the electric coop has just celebrated its 38th anniversary last week from August 16 to 19, 2010 where they held score of activities.
“The 31st AGMA will be attended by member-consumers coming from the districts of Aloran, Oroquieta North, Oroquieta South, Lopez Jaena, Plaridel, Calamba, Baliangao and Sapang Dalaga/Baliangao,”Dumalagan said.
“A top National Electrification Administration (NEA) official will be the guest speaker and as usual local government officials are being invited to attend the said annual assembly,” Dumalagan added.
“We are expecting a large membership attendance this AGMA hoping that the said assembly will foster closer relationship with the management and member-consumers resulting for a more viable partnership among ourselves,” Dumalagan added.
MOELCI I franchised area covers nearly one third of the province of Misamis Occidental covering 227 barangays, 7 towns and one city. All the 227 barangay are 100% energized. The electric coop is a multi-awardees due to the outstanding leadership of GM Noel B. Dumalagan and BOD President Hurlito Paderanga.
Every year, the electric coop received awards and citations from the National Electrification Administration (NEA) and this is being credited by GM Noel Dumalagan to the outstanding supports of the member-consumers, the Board of Directors, the Local Government Officials, the management and staff that work in unity in achieving the goal of making MOELCI I a world class electric cooperative.
