Let the People Judge…BM Parojinog says!

Ozamis City -In the recent fracas which affects the people of Misamis Occidental after the pronouncement of 2^nd District Solon Leo Loreto Ocampos and former City Councilor Connie Lim to the national media, Board Member Ricardo “ARDOT” Parojinog, uncle of City Mayor Nova Parojinog-Echaves and brother of the former City Mayor Reynaldo “ALDONG” Parojinog said in an interview that, what the solon had said in the Philippine Daily Inquirer dated August 12, 2010, sighting that Ozamis City is unpeaceful and the syndicated group called “Kuratong Baleleng” is operated with impunity by his brother are not true and baseless.

Board Member Ricardo Parojinog who had been elected to his second term last May election 2010 said that the word war between his brother as he was accused by the congressman is purely politicized and ungentlemanly; even the solon was elected as the representative of the second district against his brother who lost in the May 2010 election.

“ Congressman Ocampos barely said that the existence of the Kuratong Baleleng does still exist is not true anymore, because when my brother take seat as the new city mayor in 2000, the city become an economic tiger of the province, industries, businesses, banks, commercial centers, has grown up. Peace and Order become stable and people feel the city has become a new city” BM Parojinog said.

Ozamis City before City Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog takes over reports name it as the dirtiest city of Northern Mindanao, but when the new administration seats in, and adopt its battle cry” Bagong Ozamisnons” City Mayor Parojinog prove his worth and the city becomes now what it is.

If may be recalled, Kuratong Baleleng was created by the AFP to battle against insurgency in late 80’s but it has been accused being a syndicated crime group after it was dismantled when the insurgency movement did not gain ground in Misamis Occidental, particularly in the City of Ozamis.

“So let the people of Ozamis judge about what had Ocampos had pronounced”…Board Member Ricardo Parojinog said with pain in his heart believing that, what the solon had exposed irresponsibly being the governor for nine years.

BM Parojinog farther said that, “if they (the solon and his party mates) during the last election was wise enough to tell the truth, they can sight, what had happen in the last election, there was no failure of election, Ozamis and the whole second district was peaceful, even they allegedly implied that there was fraud. If there was was fraud then why Ocampos wins against my brother who runs for congress.”

“On the accusation of the solon against my family, it is ridiculous and unfounded, it is politically motivated, let Ozamisnons and the whole Misamis Occidental says the truth and judge for themselves what is Ozamis City right now”. He added.
