AIM Coop candidate crowned Ms. Oroquieta-Tourism 2010

Oroquieta City – “Viva Birhen sa Santo Rosaryo”, this year’s celebration of the annual city fiesta of the City of Good Life crowned a young beautiful lady who sang a good song “Angel” during the talent competition symbolizes the Lady of the Holy Rosary.

Ms. Hanzie Lou Salazar, candidate no. 2 wins over other 12 lovely ladies in the final competition done at the ABC Gym with Congressman Jorge T. Almonte, Governor Herminia D. Ramiro, City Mayor Jason P. Almonte as very important sponsor and guest of the evening crowning her to become the city’s Ambassadress of Goodwill and received the cash prize of 15-T and trophy courtesy of the City Tourism Office.

Ms. Salazar is also supported by the Aurora Integrated Multi Purpose Cooperative, Inc. (AIM Coop) branch in the city, led by its Branch Manager, Ms. Marissa Orlanes. She stands out after seven honorable judges voted for her queen of the final pageant.

Miss Oroquieta City-Tourism 2010 is not only beauty but brains to become the ambassadress of goodwill of the city and for one year she will reign as the most beautiful woman of Oroquieta City.

As her official court, 1st runner-up -Ms. Fareena Baili and 12-T cash prize with trophy, 2nd runner-up- Ms. Kimberly Udal and 10-T cash prize with trophy, 3rd runner-up- Ms. Daphne Uy 8-T cash prize and bouquet of flowers, and 4th runner-up -Ms. Kristina Manon-og with 6-T cash prize and a bouquet of flowers.

To become Ms. Oroquieta City-Tourism 2010, each qualified candidate must pass and be graded by the Board of Judges according to her god given beauty and talent, which 40% real, 25% performance or mastery,25% stage presence, and has an entertainment value of 10%.

The candidate will be given a chance to be exposed on stage in the Production Number, Swimwear and Long Gown competition, which this time, the Board of judges will rate them 1 to 10, 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest points.

The seven judges comprises of experienced artist and talented beauty consultants and trainers too, they are: Mr. Paul Santiago, Tangub Councilor and former Vice Mayor Edgar Alota, Mr. Yoyo Esperada of DOT 10, Ms, Joan Levantido, a beauty queen herself of Nueva Ecija, Mr. Odie Ocampo of Gingoog City Tourism, former beauty queen of the city Ms. Floreza Claros, and the chairman, Mr. Herbert Glen Reyes.

In the final pageant two distinguished artist of the country came as guest of the night, Mr. Johan Santos of Pinoy Big Brother and Mr. Duncan Ramos of ASAP.
