Oroquieta City, MisOC - A PNP Member identified as PO1 Roy Tansing Aguas, 31 , Married of Osilao St, Poblacion 1 this city who allegedly violated COMELEC Resolution Number 8714 and 7166 was arrested by his fellow police officers last June 15, 2010.
Oroquieta City COP P/Supt Herbert Roces Olavidez ordered his intelligence unit to arrest the said PNP Member pursuant to a Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Judge Albert B. Abragan of RTC Branch 03 of the 12th Judicial Region in Iligan City.
PO1 Aguas is facing charges against violating COMELEC Resolution No. 8714 and 7166 under Criminal Case No. 14800 with a bail bond of P80,000 for his temporary liberty, with the said arrest he is now temporary detain at the Oroquieta City PNP Office for proper disposition.
But in an interview with OCPO COP Olavidez said that the arrested PNP member was transferred last June 16, 2010 to Iligan City Police Office and was duly received there from in view of the fact that the issuing court is based in Iligan City. (PJTremedal, www.onlinenews-mindanao.tk/BND MisOCC)
